Eventing Disciplines for Intro, Pre-Novice & Novice Classes

Dressage takes place on the all-weather arena & Show Jumping in the main grass arena.
Both arenas have seating and excellent visibility for visitors and competitors.

The Cross Country course runs through the farm land surrounding the Equestrian Centre, and some of the parkland attached to Caldicot Castle, which is owned by Monmouthshire County Council.

Mount Ballan now has three courses, with a new Intro course built in 2007. There will be a combination of fixed and portable fences on flat and undulating ground and the tracks include a water complex and road crossings.

Eric Winter will be making improvements to the Intro course for 2008. Dave Thompson and his team will be the new cross country fence builders this year. The aerovator will be used in all areas if necessary.
